Community of Practice

Overview

The goal of the I-CREWS Community of Practice (CoP) is to engage Idaho 2- and 4-year educators in:

  • Exchanging ideas around topics at intersections of Energy-Water (E-W) systems in relation to climate, population, and technological change.
  • Developing a framework for E-W systems literacy and aligning E-W Systems literacy with Idaho General Education Matriculation (GEM) competencies.
  • Development and implementation of E-W systems literacy focused within CIP/VIP courses.
  • Providing professional development opportunities leveraging elements of E-W systems literacy within I-CREWS component teams and communities.
  • Understanding the needs of Idaho 2- and 4-year educators, their students and communities to broaden participation within and among ICREWS and NSF EPSCoR.

While this group focuses on 2- and 4-year educators, all meetings are open to interested individuals from any community or institution.
